Bachelorette Party

Last weekend I had my bachelorette party. Don't worry, we didn't get into any trouble and there weren't any strippers (well, not on purpose at least...). But there was plenty of champagne, yummy food, a limo and dancing.

The night started out at the home of my bridesmaid, Elizabeth. Elizabeth planned the whole evening and took care of all the details, including some delicious appetizers and Bellinis to enjoy while we hung out and opened presents before dinner. Oh and did I mention, it was a lingerie shower?

Then we all loaded into the limo (which was SO cool- I'd never been in a limo before!) and headed downtown for a yummy dinner at 6th and Vine. I think the wait staff (and some of the other guests) found us very entertaining, though I'm keeping the reason why a secret!

After dinner we decided we wanted to go dancing but had a hard time finding somewhere in Winston to dance (apparently all the good places are in Greensboro). After a few interesting detours, Elizabeth and I realized that the best place for a group of beautiful women like ourselves to go dancing was a gay club, that way we'd have good music, fun attractive men to dance with and no worries about any of them trying to come home with us! So off we headed in the limo to Club Odyssey where we were welcomed warmly. The club was full of people drinking at tables, playing pool and hanging out but unfortunately no one was dancing. The dance floor was completely empty. Which meant that there was plenty of room for us! Don't worry, once everyone else saw how much fun we were having other people joined us. I guess they were just waiting for us to get the party started.

Thank you so much to all my wonderful friends who made the evening so fun and special for me. Though parts of it are a little fuzzy, I'll never forget (most) of it! See you at the wedding!!
